New options

This new version of WebSplit allows greater control over every sector of the image we want to cut:
  • The file format for save the croped trimmed sector, to choose between gif, jpg and png
  • The HTML source code associated with the sector that allows to use wildcards to be replaced on exporting all sectors

Using the script

Once you create a rectangular path select it and click the right mouse button to display the context menu of Paths. If you have successfully installed the script will see between the options in the Tools section “WebSplit export editor”. You can see an example in the following video:

    Name for the image: this sector is saved with the name you put in this text field with the extension of the selected file type [2]. For example, if we wrote “topBorder” and select as type “gif”, this image will be saved as “topBorder.gif”

    File type for the image: file format in which we want to save the image. Depending on what you select will change the following option [3].

    Extra options: change depending on the file format selected, affect the quality with which will save the image or if it will be an animated gif or not

    Wildcards for the html: we can use a series of characters in our html code will be replaced by current sector relative values, for example the width or height of the sector, its position relative to the entire image etc. All numerical values are returned as integers. The wildcards are:
        • {w}: width sector
        • {h}: height sector
        • {t}: Upper position crop sector over the full image
        • {l}: Left position crop sector over the full image
        • {n}: full name including path and extension image
        • {e}: Extension we have selected for this field
        • {i}: Name that we used for the image
      None of the measure values return ‘px’, is a value that we have to add in the html code. Clicking the Add button adds the selected wildcard where we have the cursor in the text field “HTML code” [6]

      Html templates: drop down html code snippets used with his corresponding wildcards. Clicking the Add button adds the selected template where we have the cursor in the text field “HTML code” [6]

      HTML Code: write the text in this field will be added to the HTML file you created at the end of the process
Once all sectors of our image cropping call the main plugin in Filtros > Paths > Web Split
