Stitch layers
Stitch layers… es un script para gimp escrito en python que ayuda a unir varias imágenes en una sola, son frecuentes los casos de imágenes grandes que tenemos que escanear en varios archivos o varias fotos que queremos unir en una panorámica. Con este script solo tenemos que indicar dos puntos comunes en cada imagen y él se encarga de rotar y trasladar la imagen que elijamos como secundaria para que esos dos puntos coincidan.

Suena muy bien! En Mac, lo instalo en carpeta de scripts-fu?
Soy un profesor de arte de la escuela primaria. Mis estudiantes crearon dibujos de crayón de las casas utilizando una plantilla. La línea del horizonte y los caminos alineados. He manualmente «cosido» el primero @ http://artedall.com/galleries_2014/Young% 20Masters% 202014% 20Gallery/kindergarten_gallery.html.
Hay 18 a 22 estudiantes en cada clase. ¿Este script «puntada» de forma automática?

Sounds great! On Mac, do I install it in scripts-fu folder?
I am an elementary school art teacher. My students created crayon drawings of houses using a template. The horizon line and roads line up. I have manually «stiched’ the first one @ http://artedall.com/galleries_2014/Young%20Masters%202014%20Gallery/kindergarten_gallery.html.
There are 18-22 students in each class. Will this script «stitch» them automatically?

Hi, i can’t test the plugin on mac but in this page you can find more info on installing on mac: http://blog.meetthegimp.org/how-to-install-python-plugins-under-gimp/, i hope that info be useful for you. The plugin is useful for joining a image scanned in many parts or a panorama image, in your case if you scan every drawing in the same way really dont need to create the paths that identifies coincident points in both images, in your case for join many images at the same time you can try using irfanview, a freeware image viewer, here a video tutorial of how works http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KmQa2D8_42M
On mac you install the same way as on windows/linux:
You have a folder for gimp stuff. Mostly «gimp-2.8»
And inside is «plugins», «scripts», «themes», and everyting else.
If i recall correctly python scripts are treated as plugins by Gimp, therefore. This one goes under «plugins» directory.
